Lucy Marcus
Lucy Marcus is an experienced non-executive director and chair, with board service spanning life sciences, financial services, technology, arts, and public institutions across the UK, Europe and the US. She is founder and CEO of Marcus Venture Consulting — the governance expert behind grounding and stargazing, her framework for balancing a board’s fundamental oversight duties with long-term strategic thinking, honed through guiding boards through governance crises and transformation. Her writing has appeared in Project Syndicate, the BBC, the Guardian, and Harvard Business Review. She is co-founder of Navigating the Vortex.
Stefan Wolff
Stefan Wolff is Professor of International Security in the Department of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Birmingham. He specialises in the prevention and settlement of ethnic conflicts, post-conflict state-building in deeply divided and war-torn societies, and contemporary geopolitics and great-power rivalry, with extensive expertise in the post-Soviet space as well as conflicts in the Middle East and sub-Saharan Africa. He was one of three independent experts appointed to the Moscow Mechanism mission on the militarization and indoctrination of Ukrainian children, and is founding editor of Ethnopolitics. He is co-founder of Navigating the Vortex.
